Management

Dr. Voigt  (CSO):

is one of the founders of Capsulution and enjoys many years of know-how in the field of LBL encapsulation technology. Previously he worked at the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces in Golm and at the Benjamin-Franklin-Klinik in Berlin, at the Ivan N. Stravinsky Institute of the Technical University of Berlin and at the University of Toronto.

Dipl.-Kfm. Herrmann (CFO):

is one of the founders of Capsulution and enjoys many years of experience in the field of banking. After his study of economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin he started his career at the Bankgesellschaft Berlin, until his appointment as CFO of Capsulution in 2001.

 

Board of Trustees:

Chairman of the Board is Professor Dieter Berg (formerly Director of Bayer AG), experienced in the technology business of large pharmaceutical concerns.

Bernhard Penno has been an entrepreneur for over 30 years. As a consequence of his business success, today he is active as a private investor.

Michael Tönes is managing director at the BC Brandenburg Capital GmbH, where he has accumulated years of experience in the area of venture capital.

Prof. Clive Wilson (former president of the UK Controlled Release Society and professor for pharmacy at the Strathclyde Institute for Biomedicine in Glasgow and at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio/USA), specialist in the area of drug delivery

Prof. Helmuth Möhwald (Director of the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces), a specialist in the field of encapsulation technology and enjoys networks of contacts to prominent concerns

Prof. Achim Göpferich (Professor for Pharmacy at the University of Regensburg and at MIT), a specialist in the field of drug delivery

Professor Frank Caruso, co-founder of Capsulution and specialist in the field of encapsulation technology and professor at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
